Setup guide
What WhatsApp Business means, how to connect it to Chatzo, and how catalogs work for e-commerce.
WhatsApp Business is the official way for companies to chat with customers on WhatsApp — not a personal account. Customers see your business name, can message you, and (with catalog) browse products.
Go to developers.facebook.com → create an app → add WhatsApp product → link your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
From Meta Developer Console copy: Phone Number ID, permanent access token, and optionally WABA ID and display phone number.
Webhook URL: your-site.com/webhooks/meta — use the same verify token as META_WEBHOOK_VERIFY_TOKEN. Subscribe to messages.
Integrations → WhatsApp Business → Connect → paste credentials → Save.
Send a WhatsApp message to your business number. It should appear in Conversations (filter: WhatsApp). Reply from Chatzo — customer receives it on WhatsApp.
When a customer places an order from your WhatsApp catalog, it appears in Dashboard → Orders with line items, total, and customer details.
In Meta Commerce Manager or WhatsApp Manager → Catalog → create catalog → add products (name, price, image, link). Link catalog to your WhatsApp Business Account.
Customers can open your catalog from your WhatsApp business profile. When they ask about products, reply from Chatzo Conversations. Catalog orders and product questions appear as normal WhatsApp chats in your inbox.
